We’re currently starting work on the Small Birds Singing Christmas Special. This is the second in a series of animations created by Linda McCarthy from Tiny Elephants Animation and based on Stephen Appleby’s quirky comic strip. It’s great to be working with both Linda and Stephen again on this great stop frame series.

We visited the Tiny Elephants studio recently and got to see the sets and characters up close and even got our very own porcelain “tiny elephant” of which many can be seen in the Christmas special. Stephen was recently interviewed by the Sunday Telegraph about it’s upcoming online release and we’ll post it up on our site when the dates have been finalised. Above is a still of the comfy sitting room where Hurtle the butler is overseeing the decorating of the Christmas tree by the passing stranger.
